1.  Candle care & Safety

CAUTION:

ALWAYS BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN HANDLING A HOT OR LIT CANDLE.

CONTAINERS CAN GET VERY HOT!

• Remove all packaging or any decorative toppings that are on candle prior to lighting.
  • Burn candles for a maximum of 4 hours and allow to cool completely before relighting.

  • Do not burn a candle all the way down. Always extinguish your candle when wax reaches 3/4 to 1/2 inch of wax at the bottom of the container. Do not let candle burn all of the wax in the container away, as this causes a fire hazard.
• Always burn candle within sight, never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Before lighting candle, trim the wick to 1/2 inch.
• Always Remove any debris from around the flame. This includes gold leaf, beads, dried citrus, or any other decorative toppings. Extinguish flame and let wax cool enough to touch comfortably before removing things to avoid burns.
• Always burn candles in an appropriate heat proof container, and on a non-combustible, fire and heat proof, level surface.
• If you purchased a candle with gold leaf, make sure to keep gold leaf clear of flame.
• Keep the wax free of wick trimmings or anything that may catch on fire.
• Keep away from children and pets. Keep candle away from anything that could catch fire or cause the candle to tip, shake, or fall.
• Always keep candles away from anything that can catch fire, including but not limited to curtains, blankets, paper, or any other flammable item.
• Keep your candle in a draft-free area, away from fans, vibration, wind or anything that could present a fire hazard.
• Candles with a high flame, a high flickering flame, or soot puffs coming off of flame are a fire hazard. Safely extinguish the flame, let the candle cool, trim the wick and inspect your home for any drafts before relighting.
• Never extinguish candles with water. Water can cause hot wax to splatter and may cause glass or cermaic containers to break.
  • Burn candle for a maximum of 4 hours at one time and allow to cool for at least 2 hours before relighting.
• Never use candles as a night light. Use extreme caution during power outages.

• be very cautious with containers when candle is lit or directly after, CONTAINER MAY BE VERY HOT. Never touch or move a burning candle, or melted wax that could burn you.
• When creating decorative arrangements, candles should be set out at a distance of at least 6 inches apart to prevent a fire hazard.

2. Wax Melt Care & Safety

The Repose Comforts Wax Melts consist of sustainable soy blend wax and essential &/or fragrance oil.  My wax melts are suitable for use in tea light burners and electric burners.

How to use

  • Remove from packaging, break off or choose appropriate size for chosen burner
  • Place into burner properly.  As the well heats up the wax will begin to warm up and melt, releasing delectable aromas into your home.
  • When the tea light has been extinguished or the burner turned off, the wax will re-harden ready for next use.
  • Unlike candles, wax melts do not evaporate.  You can continue to use the wax multiple times, until all the smelly goodness is gone. Usually about 3-5 uses.
  • When finished with the melts, the best way to remove wax is to wait until melted, then use a cotton ball to absorb wax. Also heating up wax slightly and popping out the disk works well. Dispose these into the trash bin.

Important Stuff

  • Always use within sight. Never leave unattended!
  • Always ensure that you do not overfill your bowl!
  • Always keep flame & melted wax away from pets, children, open windows, fans, vibrations, or anything that could cause it to tip or be of danger.
  • Do not eat! EVER! yuck..
  • Never pour melted wax down sinks or any pipes.
  • Caution: Wax & burner will remain hot after the tea light has been  extinguished / burner switched off!
  • Do not try to move the burner until it has cooled completely and the wax has hardened! Never handle hot wax!
  • Do not add water or fragrance oils to wax melt well or wax!
  • Keep wax clear of debris!
  • Only ever use unscented tea lights as fragrance ones burn too hot.
  • Only use standard sized 4hr tea lights.  Never use the larger 8hr tea lights or multiples as these can cause the burners to break. Only melt wax 4 hours at a time, allow a little break so warmer doesn't get too hot.
  • Never place burner in freezer to help dislodge wax.  This can weaken structure of the burner.
  • Ensure that the surface under the burner is heatproof. Never melt in container or surface that is not heat proof.

3. Shower Steamers

instructions for use:

- Place shower steamer on the floor, or shelf of your shower.

- Turn shower on & let water quickly pass over steamer. This will activate it and it will start to bubble similar to a bath bomb.

 TIPS:

- Don't put your steamer somewhere where the water is gonna be hitting it constantly. the water will quickly wash away the steamer before it can reach its full potential.

- The more steam your shower is making the more you'll smell your steamers. So make sure your water is a nice tolerably hot temp.

Safety:

NOT EDIBLE!

Keep out of reach of children! Choking hazard!! Packaging contains plastic!  Discontinue use if any irritation occurs.

Keep container in a dry place. Do NOT eat.
